favorite to locals that don t know good food at all

Absolutely the worst experience I ever had. Poor food Poor Service Would nver recommend or retuen

Absolutely love this place! I am there about every week with family and friends and we have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and the service is impeccable. That's why we continue to go there because the atmosphere is wonderful. If you haven't been there, you have to check it out!

I give them a thumbs up! It's not a chain restaurant, it's just a simple old school family restaurant. It's small and worth it.

I have dined at Avandis a few times in the last year. The food is always good and well prepared. The restaurant offers a very welcome atmosphere and has a nice fireplace. It looks like a typical place from the outside, but the inside is very nice. They used to have a really good looking waiter there, but i haven't seen him in a long time. The coffee is always good, and it's not far from derry!

This restaurant doesn't even deserve a rating. It was absolutely one of the worst dining experiences I ever had. The outside doesn't draw you but the inside is even worse. It smelled like the toilet has overflowed more than once, I tried to imagine it was more like a fried clam smell but I gave up on that after awhile, it just smelled that bad. The interior was dated and decorated with cheap bad art. However because it was after 2pm, my son was cranky and we both desired a breakfast that the cheerful waitress was still willing to serve us we decided to stay. I ordered coffee which was made with I believe unfiltered water because my stomach immediately started to get upset as soon as I started drinking it. My sons breakfast was served with a hair on top of the eggs. The waitress took it away and brought us back the same dish minus the hair, we know it was the same because my son had squirted maple syrup all over the sausage and hash browns which now had a syrupy glaze on it. I pointed this out to the waitress and she decided telling me she stood there watching as they dumped the whole thing in the trash and remade it. I don't believe her but I wasn't about to argue. We should have refused the dish. The right thing would have been for her to take the charge off for that dish because of the gross inconvenience, but she didn't. My sunnyside up egg also had to be returned once and I received it on a hotter plate but virtually still with an undercooked top. We didn't leave a tip and we won't be back. I can't believe that they can even afford to stay open. But some of these reviews that praise it, well, I guess those people just don't have the same standards.

I've been living in the area for 15 years! and ive never stopped by avandis restaurant on 102. During the hectic icestorm my husband and I stopped by, because they were the onllyy ones opened. Let me tell yaa, it was amaazing. The food, mmmm no complaints. Oh and the service was very impressive and everything was juust GREAT! Since then we've been going like almost as if it was a chore. I highly recommend it, it's a 'family' restaurant with family style food and very reasonable prices! They took very good care of us and our family during the storm as well!

MMmm...Avandis resataurant is veryyy satisfying. REasonable prices for delicous food! My kids and I love going there! You come there as strangers and leave as friends. Its a very comforting atmosphere where you could feel like home. Since It's family owned its nice to see their kids help them out as well! Overall, its one of my favorits

I am a high school student in town and my friends and I love going to Avandis for breakfast. I'm not sure what the person below me is talking about. The restaurant has been non-smoking for years now and the not to mention the food is great!

WE go about once a week. Sometimes there's 2 of us--sometimes 6. No one has ever had a bad meal. We always have great service.
