Tucked away in a small space along busy Thayer Street, this restaurant is easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled. Stop in to sample reasonably priced, tasty Middle Eastern fare. You can get wonderful Falafel here for less than $5. This is a popular lunch spot; the menu boasts eclectic fare that will appeal to both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. This is a buffet/takeout restaurant and seating is limited. They only take cash, but an ATM is on the premises.

Best falafel around...

Need I say more...this place has the best falafel I have ever indulged in. Ask any Rhode Islander about this mediterranean delicasse, and 90% will probably mention East Side PoCKets. Ask them about the best they've ever had, and they'll answer the same. (I haven't had anything else from here to my knowledge, but I never hear anything negative about the rest of the menu items). If visiting RI, I would definitely recommend this place for a bite to eat.

They are so great ,they take care of you speacially when they give you a pice of falafel or baklava.I reconmand everyone to try this terrefic place like EAST SIDE POCKETS.

Always great

East Side Pockets is one of my favorite things about living in Providence. The food is always fresh, because of the volume they do, and it's always great. The gyro meat is incredibly tasty, and the falafel is as good as you'll find in the Middle East. The grape leaves are a perfect side dish for your over-sized wrap. Even when the line is long, the service moves quickly. Go there once, and you'll be hooked.

Enjoy the Flavors

EastSide Pockets is a great place to Eat ..The food is fresh , Tasty and the service is super ....the only thing I wish they would do is offer a whole wheat pocket with some good old FIBER . for us tring to be healty.. Great Place I eat their once a week ...forget the burger and the pizza try a combo ohhhhhhhhhhh it'ssss soooooooooogood !

Addicting falafals!

The workers are very nice and welcoming. They work as quickly as possible to please the impatient during the busy lunch and dinner hours. I recommend East Side Pockets to anyone who wants a healthy, tasty, filling meal to sit down and enjoy or for on the run.
