Creperie

Description

This is a tiny, unique restaurant just off Thayer Street on the East Side. The specialty here is crepes, both sweet and savory, along with Belgian waffles, wraps and fruit smoothies to drink. This eatery is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The walls have paintings that give a Parisian feel to the atmosphere; in good weather you can take advantage of the tables and chairs outside. Crepe offerings include the Josephine, a crepe with chicken, cheddar, mushroom and bechamel sauce, and the Michelle with strawberries and chocolate chips.

I went to this place with some buddies for my birthday over a year ago and that was the first time I've ever had a crepe before. The selection was great, loved how they all had unique names and came out fast. Excellent service for a small place. The crepes themselves were delicious. 5 Star recommendation!!

Authentic Crepes
By Cat*, 7/14/07
I truly enjoyed a taste from home. Their selection is incredible and delicious. It's more of a snack place than a breakfast hangout but the food itself is worth going ou of your way to check it out.

Best Crepes
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/19/07
Love Crepes, and this is a Great Place! We drive 45 minutes to eat there, well worth the drive! Going to eat Crepes and then go to the Cable Car to see Avenue Montaigne, what a nice night!

Excellent dessert crepes as well as smoothies. I also reccomend the delectable ham mushroom and cheese crepe (the napolitaine)! This quaint little creperie is a perfect touch to the diverse dining experience found in providence.

Absolutely Amazing!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/06
The crepes and smoothies are wonderful. You can go any time of day for a meal or just a snack. It's worth more then the price and there is practically no wait unless you go during the complete rush times. The people are very nice and polite. The nicest place to meet friends or just get away for 30 min or so. A definite must of Thayer St.

If you come to Providence, the Creperie is a must. Small and cozy, the Creperie offers fresh delicious crepes, wraps, smoothies and waffles. The crepes are simply amazing and you will be addicted to them once you eat one. It is my favorite place to eat in Providence.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/7/05
It was intimate and good...just really small (dont wanna be in there for rush hour). The crepes were magnificent. There are salty crepes and sweet crepes, smoothies (thumbs up), waffles, nutella, and more. Definately one of those places that make u a regular.

A Providence treasure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/20/05
This beautiful little place, hidden in Fones Alley off Thayer Street, makes delicious crepes. I especially like the one with cheese and mushrooms, and Nutella and strawberries for desert. The smoothies are good, too.
