Waterplace Park is a four-acre park by the water. This lovely park contains an amphitheater and concerts are often preformed here. The park has several well-designed bridges along with boats and it is the perfect place to walk though and enjoy the sights on a sunny day.
Is the food good?.. yes. Is the staff friendly, well call and find out yourself by reserving a table, not pleasant at all.. Tonight I will give them second chance. By the way Brussels sprouts are delicious here. If you decide to take your date for dinner just warning you families still come here this late with whiny little kids. The jazz is nice sometimes. Overall my rating is Average.
I attended dinner at the Waterplace with a large group in town for business on Wednesday, October 23, 2008. The food was AWFUL and the services was even WORSE! I had the pork tenderloin. I never had pork tenderloin that was pink in the middle. The staff said something along the lines of the concerns with raw pork are unfounded and that was the old way of cooking pork. Additionally, the pork was dry, the broccoli was cold. The food came to the table cold and had to be sent back. When the food did arrive back it wasn't much better. You could tell it had merely been microwaved. When desssert (supposedly famous carrot cake) was served the coffee was served after most of the party had left. The attitude of the wait staff and managment was very rude as if they had done us some great favor serving us such a horrible meal. I will be sending this link to all those who attended the dinner and implore them to submit their reveiws as well. If you are ever in Providence, don't eat at the Waterplace.
