Mediterraneo, Providence

My boyfriend and I absolutely love Mediterraneo. We eat there at least twice a month. We just went in last night and had the best Gnocci and Filet Mignon. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was exceptional. This is why we always enjoy our dinners at Mediterraneo!

It is not a good idea! Went for lunch - overcharged us, poor service, so-so food and made us wait. I am sure you can find a better place to go to in Providence to dine. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.

We've always been pleased with our meals here. It's authentic Italian and what of what makes Providence dining so special. You can't go wrong here.

Visit Providence often, but hadn't been to Mediterraneo for a long while...until last week. Didn't realize what I had been missing! Food and service top notch! Will be going back soon!

WATCH OUT !!! WARNING - Before purchasing a gift card from this place, make sure you know what your buying. My wife and I received a gift card from some friends who thought they were giving us a wonderful present to celebrate our retirement. We now live in Pennsylvania! Unfortunately, the $100 is going to waste because Mediterraneo won't "cash-it-in" or transfer it to some place in our area. It's silly to spend $100 to travel to RI only to get $100 of food from Mediterraneo. And, of course, Mediterraneo just says "too bad" and pockets the $100. There's much more to true Customer Service than carrying food to your table. Very dissapointed.

Upscale and classy. What more can you expect from a place on Federal Hill? Delicious food and very friendly staff.

My husband and I stopped for dinner and drinks before a concert at the Dunkin Donuts Centre. What a fabulous authentic Italian cafe. We enjoyed our dinner and drinks and look forward to returning here. Our wine was delicious also.Great service and perfect location if going to a concert.Joan Brown

This is probably one of the finest restaurants in all of Rhode island. Located in the heart of Providence's Little Italy, This gem of an eatery has superb food, service and ambiance. The food is incrediclby fresh and the staff has an understanding of the impotance of food allergies. We return again and again regardless of the price!

We had a very good experience. The staff was quick and attentive. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was comforting. Appetizers are great!

The best Fusili ala Vodka I've ever had!!! They've also got world-class service and great seating by the open floor-to-ceiling windows. Especially nice in the summer when you can go for a short after-dinner walk to the little piazza with the fountain on Atwells.
