I live within walking distance of Gregg's in Warwick but have only gone a handful of times. WHile some might call the food comfort food, I call it same old, same old. It is tasty but nothing fantastic. Just regular standby diner food that is OK. If you are looking for homemade favorites I would eat there. Now their desserts are to die for and should not be missed. They are worth a trip to Gregg's alone.
I was blown away with the service I recieved at this location. The food was great, we had; the cheese fries, sandwiches, and dessert. Now Gregg's is known for thier desserts, and I tried The Giving cake, which totally rocks. My girlfriend goes there for thier desserts. The reason why I will go back if for the staff that helps tie everything together, I order 5 desserts to go, and she was very patient with the whole process, 3 in one bag, 2 in the other. I left very happy and full.
