Awful service. A waste of time.
My fiance and I ventured into Lucia Italian Restaurant today as we were scouring for potential rehearsal dinner spots. When we walked into the dining area, we noticed that there was no one to greet us and although there were other guests sitting down, no one appeared to have been served. After about 2 minutes, a scruffily appearing waiter appeared telling us quite brusquely "sit anywhere you want." We did so and a waitress subsequently came by our table, handed us menus and literally THREW a menu in front of us showing their specials at us. She disappeared and it was quite clear that both waitstaff could care less about service and obviously hated their jobs. No one provided water or bread or took our orders and after 10 minutes of not seeing a waitstaff, we realized that this place would be awful. We picked up our bags and left.
This was in contrast to Brick Alley Pub which we ended up dining at (2 doors down) where the atmosphere was festive, the service impeccable, and the food outstanding.
Lucia Italian Restaurant is a waste of time. If you want excellent service, a fine dining ambience, look elsewhere.
