Wright's Farm Restaurant
A true destination restaurant and gift shop, offering Family Style chicken dinners for over 30 years. With seating for over 1,000 diners, and comfortable interior waiting areas for hundreds more, Wright's is an attraction for tourist and locals alike. A must-see stop for travelers in the Providence / Worcester / Boston / Connecticut region. Reservations available only for groups larger than 10. Smaller groups can expect a short wait to be seated. An adjacent 4,000 sf gift shop has something for everybody.
Wright's is disgusting. The food is terrible, and not worth it. If you're planning on going there with a spouse or significant other, save your self the trouble. You are usually sat with people you are not even with. You can't even enjoy your meal, because they rush you so they can turnover the tables for the next customers.
chix is dry and bland. Steak is below average, shells are ok. Salad is soaked in Italian dressing. Fries are soaked in grease. And thats the entire menu. Years ago it was at least a good deal because it was cheap. It's not cheap anymore
Wrights Farm is an awesome place for a birthday party, family function or just someplace to meet a friend for lunch. They are only open four days each week, thursday-sunday and holidays. The fare is served family style(all you can eat) and the service is fast and friendly.
This is a family establishment that is capable of handling very large groups in the normal dining areas and also has a larger room used for weddings. Your meal comes with their famous chicken, a delicious salad, pasta, rolls and fries. Its about $10 per person, I believe children are a bit less. If there isnt a function going on, the best room to get to sit in is the carriage room. The carriage room offers a little more privacy if you are having a smaller more intimate dinner.
Wrights is open on Thursday and Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday its open at noon. The only down side is if you come at the wrong time, the wait time can be fairly long. If you arrive just before noon on a sat or sun you will be seated immediately. You will be served within minutes and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious.(They also offer steak for your main course, all other items would be the same)
