found the place to be decent food for what they offered.....tables were very sticky..(maybe the salt air ???)....there are better views to be had ....... the appetizer of littlenecks with chiorizo was very good but the rest of the meal was average .....also the chairs are the plastic kind and leave you feeling like you are sitting in a hole .

An informal restaurant with a great deck overlooking Crescent Beach. Walkable from the Water Street/ferry area. Friendly but busy staff; bar is understaffed. The food is reasonable, but not spectacular. Clearly the attraction is the view and the beach atmosphere, which I recommend. If you are considering Beachhead, you will also probably consider the Oar. They are similar; I think the food at the Oar is a little better, but the view is better at Beachhead. You should really do both!
