The cheery Pancake Man sign says it all at this Cape Cod breakfast tradition. The omelets, French toast and waffles are good, but pancakes made the restaurant famous, with 15 varieties including apple cinnamon, honey buckwheat, spicy salsa and corn meal, and a fluffy potato and chive. Bottomless coffee and fast service in a bright, friendly space seal the deal. Get there before 8:30a on weekends to avoid huge lines. The restaurant has a full service bar. Open daily from 7pm.
I cannot remember going to a worse place for breakfast! The rug was dirty, the service slow, and food was awful. I think there's not much pressure on restaurants in the area because of the high tourist volume.
GO GO GO! Its absolutely worth your time. Pancakes are terrific - egg dishes are awesome. Plump juicy sausages. Perfectly cooked non greasy eggs. Killer country fried potatoes! Great for families or couples - whatever GO!
I don't usually eat pancakes... but once a year when I visit the Cape, just try to keep me away! Unfortunately my husband and son don't care for the wait, so next vacation, I'll ask for an early wake up call JUST to eat at Pancake Man.
Years ago, I even had the best lobster dinner there.I've had over 30 years of great memories eating there on vacations with my parents, friends, and now my own family.
Every time I go to the Cape, I make it a point to stop at The Pancake Man, even if my wife insists on staying in the car sulking about something ridiculous. This is the best breakfast on Cape Cod. Great pancakes, waffles, big portions, friendly service. The place is big too, but that's OK, most places on the Cape are. ATSC approved.
