Village Pizza Restaurant, Yarmouth Port

I had a great experience here. The staff was good, the prices were very good. The place has new owners, it use to be pretty bad in there, but a greek family owns it now and the place is good now. Food is fresh, and the taste is really good. The pizza is light, not greasy, and the sauce makes a big difference. The family is smiley and very friendly, a nice quiet atmosphere, very clean.

I took my children to this place, for a bite to eat on a Sunday night after driving down from Boston. I was seated, there was one waitress, and the wait time was a little long, not so bad for just one wait person. However the food was nothing more than frozen food cooked. At the end of the meal I asked for the check which was added with a calculator, and added incorrectly at that. As I turned my head to call the waitress to notify her of her mistake, there was a cockroach walking behind the booth. I brought it to the attention of a worker, who had the waitress kill it with her hand. I was disgusted. They did not offer any type of apology, just an explanation of this is the season for them.....ok, I fell off a turnip truck at some point!
