Description

Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta is a cool hangout, where you can go with friends and family. The eatery doles out contemporary dishes with an emphasis on pastas. The food is definitely delicious and they hand out generous portions. All sorts of people come here to enjoy a meal, so obviously the ambience is comfortable and relaxed. There is a seated bar inside the restaurant with a lot to choose from so don't miss that one out! Expect to wait to get a table because it is a pretty popular eatery and don't forget to take a look at the mural on the ceiling while you are here!

Be prepared to be insulted and belittled by the maitre'd...I guess that's what she calls herself... we watched her insult at least three other guest, because they asked how long it would be... The table was too close, and I found myself 4 inches from another patron, and a child looking at me with food on his face..the table was rocking until my husband fixed it. The loud mouths on the porch drinking beer were fightening!! You better be hungry because the oversize portions are the only reason to go there .. We never will again and many others said the same!...hope the girl taking names is related, because she is certainly not an asset!!

Awesome! Huge portions, great tastes. I've been visiting Martha's Vineyard for 14 years and I've gone at least once during each visit. Frank Sinatra on the soundsystem. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the super casualness of the place. Tables and booths jammed together, some in places too small for a table! But they are trying to get as many people in there as possible - it's so popular. Chicken Carbonara and Shrimp Scampi are highly recommended. I LOVE the roasted garlic appetizer. Warm bread and salad are served with the meal - family style. Full bar with wine list.

The service is terrible and the food employs excessive garlic to an extreme. If you like those two features,go now because once the summer comes, you can wait 2hours to the capricious whims of this woeful wait staff.

Unforgettable!

We went mid-week in July about 8pm. We got seated right away in the window - a bit surreal! The evening just got better as I had the best white clam sauce with linguine I've ever had! My husband, who orders carbonara just about anytime he has the opportunity, expressed the same sentiment about his carbonara - excellent! Our friends ordered a seafood stew or soup of some kind that was incredible and huge! The value was wonderful for the exceptional food and very generous portions! Can't stop thinking about going back - as soon as they open again in April!

Mediocre at best

Seems you only get window seating if you have a party of 4 or go to school with the Waite staff. 4 couples came in with us being the first, we all asked to sit in the window and was told only parties of 4, this happened 3 more times. But when school mates of the waitress came in, they were given the window seat even though there were 4 more tables for 2 open. We told our waitress that because of that stunt, were could not give her a tip. The food was bland with garlic added, The chunks of chicken were too big and precooked without any flavor, they were added to the meal after and didn't have any taste and was rubbery. The wine list was lacking, without a pinot noir on the list. We were told the $10 glass of wine was great and was a basic wine worth only about $5-6 per glass. I'm sure the bottle would only cost $10-15 if bought in a store or from the winery. I've had better wine from a box. We did not feel any magic at this restaurant
