Fareground & Pudley's Pub, Nantucket

Great specials, very reasonable pricing, very comfortable atmosphere. I spent a good deal of time here while visiting Nantucket and the staff was always wonderful. Love their oysters and the duck tenders on the apps menu. Guys will love the numerous TV's in high def, all around the pub area. Highly recommended.

I have to say that Faregrounds is the best family restaurant on the island. They have a huge menu and don't mind making things to order. They always have about a dozen lunch and dinner specials that change daily. And you're not going to spend a fortune. Their seafood burrito is about $8 and I dare you to finish it in one sitting. The owners (Kim and Bill Puder) are very friendly and a gigantic supporter of the community. They selflessly give their time, money and support to Junior Miss and the Rotary Club. About every funeral, wake and birthday party is held at the 'Grounds. I myself have spent more Christmas afternoons at the bar than I care to admit. So, Faregrounds is the ultimate family restaraunt and neighborhood pub. It's good food cheap and poor advice free. And I think that I'll go there for a bite and a pint right now.

It's the best place to take the kids but the worst for a romantic gourmet dinner.

One of my favorite places on the island. Around Football season, this place is jam packed with other Patriots Fans, such as myself. It can be loud, but that's fine by me. The service is great, and the food is typical of what you'd find at a bar.

did not think to get a stellar meal when entering faregrounds. was very surprised. the waitress was great and all went beyond expectation. the burger was great and my wife's scampi was excellent! not a shining star - but we would go back!
