Locals eat here. Waitresses are top, always supplying you coffee.
Eggs Benedict are very good, and have them with sausage patties.
If you like fluffy scrambled eggs or omelettes
don't order them here as they are way too flat and hard.
Their home made bread is always something I buy and bring home.
You will enjoy the place, and they serve breakfast up until they close at 2 !
Mary Ellen's is a great little breakfast place hidden just off Main Street. It's definitely a local hangout and draws a fishermen crowd at sunrise. Sometimes a late night drinking crowd as well. Really good bread, omelets, and home fries. Beats any breakfast place in town. Cozy and rustic with a real old diner feel.
