Bad food at a really high cost. The $19 carbonara was in a liquid sauce and I needed Rolaids when I got home. The $27 Grilled Seafood consisted of a plate of green salad, 4 shrimp and some calamari. They ran out of scallops. I don t understand how they keep a client base. It may be that Newton doesn t offer enough choices. Drive to Waltham or Brookline for better food!
We have lived in Newton now for over a year and never tried this place out. Went in late on a Sunday, real quiet, nice atmosphere, decent setup. First off, service was abysmal. The waiter was more interested in talking to his friends than helping customers. The food was ehh, not worth the $60 we spent for two people. Again, waiter took forever to come by, ask if we needed anything. I just paid and left. Not going back there any more.
