$6.95 for a shawarma sandwich? This is about $3 too high. The chicken shawarma meat is too finely cut and drenched in tahini. The beef/lamb is better, but is too coarsely cut. I also find it curious that they place the sandwich in a panini press. I've had many shawarmas before, and Shawarma King ranks towards the bottom. It would rank higher if the prices were lower. I'll pass on this one next time.
I am really picky when it comes to Shawarmas and alot of places just don't cut it. So when I had my first Shawarma King Shawarma, I fell in love with it. The food is clean, tasty and very reasonably priced, and the place is very laid back. Oh yeah, and a great eye-candy place, too! Try it out!
