We went on the 4th of July, this was a great little place to eat. The food was great, the lean meat burger was delicious. Our server was friendly, it was a tiny bit slow but not enough to distract from how great the food was. It was a nice little neighborhood as well. I'd recommend it.
I took my wife there for diner and it was the worst dining experience we've ever had. The floor was filthy with food and trash. Tiles in the main dining room were cracked and dirty. While the bar was clean, the mouths of the staff were not. Waitresses were yelling profanities back and forth. The bartender, a young college-age man, was more interested in talking with his friends (who took up 3/4 of the bar) than getting paying customers a drink. We've eaten there several times before but the deteriorating decor and poor help will keep us away despite the huge portions of good eating.
I have lived in the area for Many years and I used go all the time but this year I have gone 4 times and each time was worse then the other. The serivce has gone down hill, the staff is more worried about hanging out and talking to each other, the bathrooms and bar area need a major rehab. Place is dirty.
Some really great food and huge portions!! Extensive menu. Great sandwiches, salads and pastas. Creative sandwiches/hamburgurs, my favorite is Heartburn (Chicken w/ jalapeno). Favorite dishes are their fried mushrooms and the Chicken Marsala. If you like Cheesecake Factory food, then this a much better place that has much better prices. Definitely a hidden jewel. On the downside--can get extremely crowed and extremely loud.
