Boston Beer Works, Boston

While waiting for my flight yesterday, I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a beer at their Logan location. When it arrived I discovered that there was virtually nothing in it but a couple bites of potato and tiny bits of tough clams. When my server with a shaved head asked me how it was,, I politely said that I would not order it again since it had nothing in it. He simply walked away from me with no comment and seemingly no interest. Needless to say that frosted me no end. Stick with Legal for clam chowder and service. I would not go back there ever. I regretted not gettinig a hamburg and a soda at Johnny Rockets right next to BBW but had my heart set on clam chowder..

Great beer and good food - lackluster service. We went when there was not a Sox game, but the Boston Beer Marathon was on and a bunch of revelers were at BBW. Be prepared to wait some.

I went to the Canal Street location in May of 2007. I missed breakfast, and I was hungry. I got a very big and filling burger with fries. Washed it down with a Fenway Pale Ale. The fellow at the bar made sure I was fine. Can't wait to go back next year!

This place is where it all begins! The beer is great, the service quick and courteous, and the restrooms stainless steel! Me and my buddies go every year in May and we will be there at 11:00 Am before the game vs. Baltimore! Save us a table!

My cousin and I went to Boston Beer works near the Boston Garden twice. The service, the nachos and the hamburgers were great. Certainly a great place to go with kids before an event or with friends after.

Overall this place is a great place to get together with a bunch of Friends - it's casual dining at it's best but whats really great is the menu - Everytime we go we have been extremely pleased by our seletion of Food - The beer is great also - The only thing I would say negative about this place is how popular it is when Red Sox are in Town you will have to wait to get inside but I guess overall it's worth waiting for!!!!

the Canal Street location has a very cold atmosphere and the management is very rude, especially the guy they call Gary. the food is bland and over salted and the beer we had was skunky.

The food menu is large enough to tantilize anyone. The beers are great. Although, the service at the Fenway location gets worse and worse each time I go. I will probably not return to this restaurant, nor recommend it.

we ate at beerworks in the summer 2005 and 2006 we had maryann and nattalie serve us both experiences were exceptional the food,beer,service,and music were exceptional,our favorite was the boston accent cant wait till next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
