Anna's Taqueria is a great taco/burrito place but don't go to this one at MIT.
They are extremely stingy with the portions of meat, rice/beans, veggies, etc.
I tried to get no beans, extra rice and they charged me an extra $1.25 for the rice. I got two burritos, so it came out to $2.50 extra, I could have gotten another burrito for a $1.50 more...
Anyways, I hardly write reviews, but after today's experience, I had to get the word out.
Anna's isn't terrible. But it's pretty bad. The meat is chewy and watery, and the portions really aren't that amazing.
I'll never understand why people like Anna's... it just shows West Coast dominance in burritos!
This place has great food, at low cost, and provides quick service. It is an unbelievable value. I'm there at least 5 times a week. My favorites are the super steak burrito ($4) and the carnitas quesadilla ($3). Enjoy.
Anna's service is fast. Sure you have to walk up to the counter for it, but who cares. The guys making yor burrito for you, fresh, while you watch, are friendly and funny. You get a DELICIOUS and quite healthy burrito for under 5 bucks. Did I mention the thing is huge? Can it get any better?
