Who wouldn't like this place their authentic the waiters are nice the chefs had perfection in everything but one dish where the meat was a little to dry but I'm a picky eater so I think most people would love it. If you go to this place you'll never want to go any where else. So got to Cafe of India. Rock on dude/dudett.
My first experience there was my best. It was too expensive then as now, but at least there was a lot of food and good service.
Since then, every visit has been worse. Last month's experience was likely to be my last. I was there for a special dinner with friends. The service was AWFUL. We couldn't get anyone to stop by, let alone follow through with our needs. Then, the food we ordered (two sets of 2 person meals) came incomplete. We felt guilty for asking for the missing items. I hope it improves because it is otherwise not worth the price.
If you want to impress your date with how much money you can spend, take them here. The food is good, but it does not match the price that you have to pay for it. I went there once, and basically, you are paying for sitting near Harvard University in a classy Indian restaurant. Nice, but I can pass. But the open air style is still a good idea.
