After eating at Gregore's and Nick place in belmont center I started to hate honey mustard, it was the most disgusting thing to me, but one day my brother took me to mamagoos and convinced me to try their HONEY MUSTERD CHICKEN SUB!! ohh man that was the best tasting thing i have ever tried in my life.. They are using REAL!, FRESH WHITE CHICKEN, THE BREADING IS NICE AND I HAVE NO WORDS FOR THE SAUCE, YOU JUST HAVE TO TRY IT AND SEE, GOOD IS NOT THE RIGHT WORD NOR IS THE OUTSTANDING, ITS JUST PERFECT
DEFF STOP BY AND TRY THEIR HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN SUB!!!!
I work around the corner and just randomly stopped in one afternoon. I got the grilled chicken sub and it was really good and very big! The staff was sweet and efficient and the atmosphere was laid back. Best sandwich shop in the area!
What can I say...I am new to the area and decided to stop in.....the food is great, the portions are huge (don't ask for extra extra, or you'll need to hit the gym to carry the subs home) and it's really inexpensive. Best in greater boston.
What can I say about one of the best sub shops in this state? A huge menu with pretty much everything you can think of. Everything is fresh and made to order. Owner and Operator Jimmy Demotropoulos has proven himself as quite the chef. He makes a honey mustard that is out of this world that goes perfectly with the incredible chicken fingers. People come from all over just for his famous chicken fingers and line up for his Honey Mustard. The steak and cheese subs are incredible as well as his greek style pizzas with so many different choices of toppings than I have ever seen. It is worth a trip to the Fresh Pond area of Cambridge to experience this awesome food!!! Friendly and quick service make that trip a must!!! Five stars all the way!
Ma Magoo's buffalo chicken subs are the best I've ever had, hands down. They hand bread crispy, delectible pieces of chicken and deep fry them to order, before dousing them in their homemade buffalo sauce. I consider myself a buffalo chicken connoisseur, and I can say without doubt that Ma Magoo's has no equal. My friends also enjoy the chicken finger sub with honey mustard sub. The pizza is average at best--I've only gotten a couple slices. Armando's, right down the road, has superior pizza.
Ma Magoos' chicken fingers are the best I've ever eaten and the honey mustard is is incredible. They use only white meat chicken and fry them up to order. A large side order of chicken fingers is huge and I can easily get three meals out of one order. A large order is in the $9 range with the small being a couple bucks less. A chicken finger meal that includes a salad and fries is available as well.
Ma Magoos also has good fish and chips but after discovering the chicken fingers that's all I order now. They also have a large sandwich menu and a variety of other offerings to choose from.
The staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and portions are large. They only have a couple tables but do a thriving takeout business. The only downside is access from public transportation isn't great but on a nice day it's worth the hike from the Alewife T stop.
Two fast working chefs man a round griddle in the middle of this fun restaurant. You select a mixture of
vegetables, meat, fish, tofu and sauce, and the chefs grill it for you on the spot. If you do ...
