J.P licks in J.P is great.! is spacious, relaxed, they have a fun blackboard for kids to write on. Their ice creams are delicious and the coffee smell so good!

YUMMMMM! It's worth waiting in line for JP Licks -- they have such a great selection of ice creams and soft serve, not to mention they're in a great neighborhood.

One of the best ice creams I have had! It has a great variety of flavors. A walk to the JP pond with an ice cream in hand is a wonderful experience that cannot be missed!

Not that great! It depends who you get making youre ice cream. Ive been to a few and had some young school kids make some fraps and it turns out like a cup of milk. Stick with sundaes and scoops of ice creams.

I love JP Licks. I go to the one near Brigham and Women's hospital. and they are never crowded and the icecream is great. espically cake batter! yum

I've been to the one in JP, Netwton Ctr as well as in Somervile loved the atmosphere and the service at each , the Maple Walnut Ice Cream was the best, we always go to JP Licks when we come back to visit.

I have to admit I was a Brighams Girl. Was sad to see it go but delighted when JP Licks came in. Their ice cream is by far the best home made I have tasted. Since moving out of state, whenever we come back we always go to JP Licks. The variety is outstanding

JP Licks is one of those Boston mainstays that serves some of the most delicious ice cream around. You can pick a wide variety of flavors and toppings, and the choices of cones range from your typical sugar cone to the chocolate-dipped waffle cone. Frankly, their stuff is so good it's damn decadent. But be careful: an addiction to JP Licks will add a few inches to your waistline, so visit this place sparingly.

In a town full of good ice cream, JP Lick's White Coffee will always be my own personal favorite. It's one of a handful of exquisite culinary experiences I will take to my grave. If you like coffee ice cream, I implore you to try this flavor, rumored to be the brain-child of Ben Franklin. Or try it in a frappe “with just a little chocolate syrup.” Heaven on Earth. Whatever your ice cream tastes, I'll bet you'll find something terribly yummy at this Jamaica Plain institution. Enjoy!
