Just not enough
I had been here in 1997 and had not been back since but I heard that things were new and fresh so I gave it another whirl.
I don't know if this was normal or an abberation, but the whole place was filled with wood smoke, so much so that you could visiably see people in the restaurant squinting and rubbing their eyes. Staff did not seem overly concerned about it. I came out of there smelling like I'd been at a bonfire all evening, while albeit not an unpleasant aroma, not exactly what I was looking for in a dining experience.
Food was OK. I liked my tuna appetizer, but that dish you can find good anywhere. The ribs my husband had, well... Apparently they are 180 degree ribs, or the best, is what our waiter told us. To me, ribs are one thing that you cannot fancy pants up. They are what they are.
Whole place has a weird, discombobulated vibe. Menu, decor, crowd, servers all seem to be operating independently, there was no cohesive element among them.
