Atlantic Fish, Boston

We tried out the Atlantic Fish restaurant due to location: right across from the Prudential Shops, as a cousin was in Boston attending a convention and we wanted to take her out for a seafood dinner. It was a beautiful summer evening, and there were outdoor tables, so Atlantic Fish seemed the proper spot. Our meals and the service were excellent, and we considered the food to be reasonably priced, so I would highly recommend dining at the Atlantic Fish, especially on a nice summer night at a sidewalk table.

Whenever I'm in Boston I make a point of eating at ATlantic Fish Company on Boylston. By now, I've probably tried everything on the menu but my favorites are the Chilean Sea Bass, Tuna steak, Swordfish steak, and Sea Scallops. The service is great but I suggest that you get reservations (preferably after 9) because it is always busy. At that time, you'll be able to relax and linger after your meal without feeling rushed.

Very fresh seafood and attentive waitstaff. I would have been lots happier had my scallops not been gritty as they were exceptionally sweet. However, the meal as a whole was very enjoyable.

This bland excuse of a eatery compares unfavorably with the erstwhile Syd-Mars. Heck, it ranks below Frankie & Johnny's... on North Broad

Just popped into town for a 2 day conference. I was looking for a spot with good food, but casual enough to show up in jeans (I'm from Seattle and that's how we roll). I sat in the bar (since I was solo) and was very well attended. Food was excellent. You gotta have the crab cakes. They're full of chunks of crab but not fried. So darned tasty that you don't need any sauce with them. Had the stuffed flounder with hollandaise for the entree, and it was really, really good. I'm sure it's not on any low-cal diet menu, but who cares. Finished off wth an espresso and the apple crisp - not the best I've ever had - ice cream scoop was way small compared to the quantity of crisp. Nevertheless, this place comes highly recommended.

This is one of the best restaurants in all of Boston. The swordfish chop is really to die for. I never even heard of a swordfish chop until my daughter took me here. Do yourself a favor and dine here. You will not be disappointed. JayKay..... Derby, Ct.

Great food and atmosphere. We had a 730pm reservation and were not seated right away. The manager kept apologizing and checking on us. He gave us our dessert, compliments of the restaurant. Had he not been so attentive, we would have left. Our waiter was friendly and informative. Definitely would go back. Get a reservation if you're going on a weekend.

While visiting colleges in Boston, my son & I randomly decided to have dinner at the Atlantic Fish Company. A little noisy inside, but not annoying. The staff & service was fantastic. The portions were large. The Baked Stuffed Shrimp was excellent, but the Grilled Ginger Calamari with baby bok choy, pineapple, sweet peppers & toasted peanuts was amazing. I can't wait till we return in January!!

Overall food experience was average, lobster bisque should have been much warmer. Service was a bit below par for the prices they request (food poorly presented, almost thrown down in front of our party at one point). And to top off the nights experience, overheard what I assumed to be the management staff using some colorful language in earshot of my family. I have eaten here a few times over the course of the past few years, but will not be making a return back after this experience. Seems to have slipped quite a bit from what I remembered.
