Laurel, Boston

Wow! We had been in Boston for days and were tired of the high prices. Everywhere we looked entrees were $40...and we went to one of those restaurants and it was really poor. Laurel Grill had great ambiance, really good food with great presentation, and good prices. We had lamb shank and stuffed pork loin and the meal was good. Wine list was good with wine you recognize at prices that you will be willing to pay. I travel a lot (140+ flights a year) and this was a personal trip with my sweetie and capped off our trip nicely. A GREAT FIND...NOT EXTREMELY FANCY OR PRICEY BUT YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Nice, unpretentious restaurant. Ample variety in the menu (even pleased a vegetarian in our group), great ambiance; and the prices are quite inexpensive for such good food. I'd definitely recommend it; and we'll surely go back.

i love the food 1st and the great prices were a plus.......ive taken my mom , she loved it , and all 6 of my sisters and 1 brother they all want to know when we are going back. my sister karleen keeps asking me to ask shery(the owner) how they get the mashed potato to stay so hot through the whole meal

I love this place!! If you are on a budget and still want to impress your date, this is the place. It's similar to a ritzy restaurant but without the high prices. American fare at its best. Love the steak and lamb!! Service could be a bit better....definitely a hidden jewel. Also voted best of boston for breakfast!

We had dinner a Laurel last friday Night. The restaurant was busy and the bar was hopping. We asked for a quieter table and the host sat us at the perfect table! We started with the smoked white fish appetizer which was interesting and really good. We had the stuffed pork and maple rotisserie duck. Both were awesome. The waiter was friendly and efficent. We were delighted to find a restaurant that has wondeful relax atmosphere, good service and very reasonable prices! This is a great find!
