Excellent fare! Although I do recommend the South End over the Chestnut Hill location. Better atmosphere and has unique feel.

My wife and I went for our 17 year anniversary and were delighted. The food and service were top tier. The wine list was unimaginable and the host had perfect taste in pairing it with the meal. This is a must experience.

A more-than-pleasant brunch experience brought us back for late night dining which was equally enjoyable. In both instances, the food was delightful as was the service - the atmosphere perfect for each meal. Wish Aquitaine was in our neighborhood. We'd be regulars.

Went there for Brunch with my wife and two grown kids. The hostess and the waitstaff were very polite and seated us immediately. The place certainly looked charming. I ordered a burger and an omlette; my wife a salad; and the kids 2 duck paninis. Our simple order took 40 minutes to get to the table. The burger was overcooked, and the paninis literally 'burnt' as I didn't want to wait another 40 minutes for a replacement panini, I had to scrape the black burnt part right there on the table. Before it could be consumed. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and don't plan on ever going back.

Modern elegant seating- nice waiting staff and extensive wine list. The menu is impeccable and the ambiance will guarantee a romantic and elegant dinner.

Okay so there is no chips here unless you get some pomme fritte. Food was amazing, service was perfect, and the atmosphere wonderful, especially on the night of the blizzard of 2005. In a perfect booth, warm, sipping a glass of Gigondas, and eating some of the best french food in Boston
