They can be pricey but they stay open until 2am.

Instead of sauntering into the heart of Boston's Chinatown late at night why not give Gyuhama a try. Now, I am not a fan of sashimi, I'm no longer a big sushi guy by any means. But the other items on Gyuhama's menu are not that bad. You have your bowls of noodle soup, salmon teriyaki, eel on a bed of rice (tastes better than it sounds) and a whole lot of other Japanese edibles. Gyuhama may not be the last word in Japanese food, but if you are out late, hungry and you have more than a few buck in your pocket you could do much worse by going to Wendy's for a burger or Store 24 for a bag o' chips and a Red Bull. Plus the hired help are nice individuals. Unless the entire staff has changed since I have been there. If they are mean then all bets are off.

Stay Away!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/23/04
The worst thing that could happen at a sushi restaurant is to serve unfresh fish. The sushi was mushy, and the chef refused to admit it. Not only did we not get comp for some uneatable food, they did not even apologize. Overall, food and service were awful. This is the worst sushi I have ever had.

not recommended
By Pochi89, 12/20/04
I hadn't gone to this restaurant for a few years and thought that the quality should remain the same but I was in for a surprise. The entree was bad. The sushi, however, was even worse. When we told the waitress that the sushi wasn't fresh, she actually tried to convince us that it was fresh. The food was bad and the service was just as bad, if not worse. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The sashimi wasn't fresh and the waiters/waitresses just ignored customers.
