They can be pricey but they stay open until 2am.
Instead of sauntering into the heart of Boston's Chinatown late at night why not give Gyuhama a try. Now, I am not a fan of sashimi, I'm no longer a big sushi guy by any means. But the other items on Gyuhama's menu are not that bad. You have your bowls of noodle soup, salmon teriyaki, eel on a bed of rice (tastes better than it sounds) and a whole lot of other Japanese edibles. Gyuhama may not be the last word in Japanese food, but if you are out late, hungry and you have more than a few buck in your pocket you could do much worse by going to Wendy's for a burger or Store 24 for a bag o' chips and a Red Bull. Plus the hired help are nice individuals. Unless the entire staff has changed since I have been there. If they are mean then all bets are off.
