Their cooking enhances the taste of the sea instead of dominating it.You can have simple preparations or choose more creative recipies.The cost is high moderate but during the meal you know the freshness was more than worth it. We New Englanders love our seafood and love value in our purchases. Legal is a great place to celebrate that special occasion because it nice looking but casual. Service is excellent and efficient but not overwhelming or intrusive.There are no pretentions here making the atmosphere a very comfortable and inviting experience.

Other restaurants may have more imaginative fare, but no one beats Legal for freshness and excellent preparation.

I've been here twice and had 2 different experiences. The first time we waited forever for both the table and the food. We were out celebrating and ended up in a bad mood. The second time we went it was during the day and we were seated promptly and the food didn't take long. The seating though both times was TERRIBLE.

Bad food, bad atmosphere and way way over priced.

I can't think of one dislike about this resturant. My husband and I took my son and his girlfriend for dinner before a show. Our waiter was very nice and knew all about the menu and the restuant. Not being a fish lover like my husband and son I ordered the filet, melted in my mouth and the garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables were delicious. The fish dinners my husband and son ordered were also very good. The only thing I would have liked to see was a bigger dessert menu since I love my dessert. Althought the bon-bon like vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate was very good.

Over all it has good fish and salads, nothing bad about anything

I like because the food is realy special, and I love seafood
