Description

This Back Bay establishment represents one of Boylston Street's better places to stop and eat, both indoors or outside on the patio. A pub-style atmosphere featuring wooden paneling mixed in with brightly painted walls awaits you as does a diverse menu. Among the entreeshomemade codcakes, Chipotle Pepper Meatloaf and Grilled Half Duck. The sandwiches are famous here with grilled creations, including eggplant, leg of lamb and tenderloin sandwiches available. A long list of specialty martinis are served and the bar also offers an ample beer and wine selection.

This is our go to place in Boston. Food is always good, the wait staff always smiling and pleasant - like the busy vibe and energy. Great beer selection!

A great respite from Boston's cookie cutter restaurant/bars. The menu's theme is unique, and the food is great. The beer and cocktail menu is also extensive. The service is good and the atmosphere laid-back.

Love the food. Love the theme. Area chefs contribute high concept sandwich ideas. The D-Bar is my fav sandwich of all time. Breaded veal cutlet, thick bacon, melted gruyere, tomato caper relish and taragon mustard aoli. Serious taste explosion. The rest of the menu looks great, but I am compelled to order the D-Bar everytime. If you think the food is expensive, I'm surpised that you're a Zagat contributor.

Great neighborhood restaurant

Although I often feel like a geezer when I eat here, the food is delicious. Wish I was still young enough for the vibe!

A real gem - the unique, delicious sandwiches will make you beg for more. Each one tastes better than the one before. I just wish they took reservations, because everyone knows this is a not to be missed place. And, it is a short walk from the Four Seasons - so it makes it easy for a great lunch while staying at the best hotel in Boston.

Sat at the bar and had great service. Two nice HD flat screens, great to watch a game. Beer selection is great. The Zuni roll is a very good sandwich and is a mainstay on the menu. Other sandwiches change on the menu periodically. Good place.

Parish Cafe Inc is great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/8/10
Love this place! They have the best sandwiches, they are not your everyday normal sandwiches but better. If you are in the mood for something of more substance, the mac and cheese is great. Try the Rialto

Parish Cafe is great for lunch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/09
Parish Cafe is always packed with lunch crowd and after work. The weekends are great in the summer on their oversized patio. The zuni roll is one of the best sandwiches in Boston and better than the one served at Cottonwood Cafe where it originated

Great food and drinks
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/28/09
Parish is one of my favorite spots. The location is convenient, the food is great, and they make fantastic drinks in addition to having a good beer selection. I'd go there just for the Honey Bunny. Good atmosphere too.

Awesome sandwiches, great beer list and reasonable prices but service is a bit slow.
