I had dinner at the Newbury St. location last night It was superb! I ordered the citrus salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The citrus is distinct - just the right touch of flavor to complement the fish which was very fresh and moist - it melted in my mouth. Our table ordered several salads and a variety of sides including the mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, asparagus, corn with bacon, and mushrooms. My favorite was the mashed potatoes. For an app, I got the french onion soup - it's by far my favorite in town. Dessert is outstanding as well. Enjoy! The Capital Grille is a wonderful experience.
By far one of the best steaks I ever had. I have been to Emerils, Flemmings, and Ruth Chris and nobody can top the Steaks @ Capital Grille.
Go for the Kona crusted bone in ribeye cooked medium.
It's a steak lovers dream!
The Capital Grille On Newbury Street in Boston was the place to be this weekend. I saw a bunch of red sox players and Yankees and the steak and service was top notch. Worth the money and the trip. Get the Porcini Delmonico..
We recently attended with a group of 5 for a wedding celebration. The service and atmosphere were excellent the food was just average. If you're looking for a really good steak head to Abe & Louie's instead.
My family dined here one night in Boston and I loved the location. Right on Newbury Street, close to public transporation and our hotel. Inside was old and dusty seaming--like a hunting lodge with a touch of style. The atmosphere cried bring your father here for father's day. The filet I ordered was cooked very well and I thought overall it was a good place, but I don't know if I'd go here for a romantic dinner or excitement. Guaranteed good meal for a father figure, though.
