Settle into a deep booth in the mahogany-paneled dining room and get ready for a melt-in-your-mouth culinary experience at this old-fashioned steakhouse called Abe & Louie's. Filet mignon and porterhouse steak are standard fare. The kitchen offers a selection of cheese and sauces that may be included with your steak. Lighter entrees include a selection of poultry and fish dishes. Pick your own side dishes from a list including onion rings, asparagus and creamed spinach while you enjoy a drink from the full service bar. Seasonal outdoor seating and private dining rooms are available.

The service is excellent-profesional and attentive but never snooty. Great wine list. The bone-in rib-eye is the way to go. It is expensive-but well worth every dime.

We go to Abe and & Louie's often. Each time we go the food is great the service is friendly the ambiance is nice however the noise level can and often does get LOUD. The $$$ is worth it.

Fantastic evening!

Abe & Louie's has all it takes to make a wonderful evening in Boston. The atmosphere is fabulous. The food and service are top-notch. You won't do better anywhere. We went for my parent's 50th anniversary and they were wonderful! Ask for a table at the window.

From the appetizers, to the steaks, to the chocolate cake and of course, the wine list - - this was fulfilling in all regards. Knowledgable, attentive staff on all levels.

The whole experience is great, and it will be the same, every time you go. It's a restaurant you can count on! The steak is always tasty, the lunches are perfectly sized, the brunch is great, and the people are always friendly and professional! AND they have the biggest best chocolate cake around! They are also friendly and accomodating towards children, which is not always the case in restaurants like these.
