This is my most favourite restaurant in the world. It's a different experience every other time I 've been there!!! It's worth the money :)

A truly amazing experience. We ordered the chef's journey menu with wine pairings. Every dish had outstanding presentation and flavor. Wine was paired perfectly for each course. Service was outstanding. Restaurant deserves its reputation as being number 1 in Boston and is on par with some of the finest in New York and Los Angeles I have been to. My only criticism is that the decor, while nice, doesn't do this restaurant justice.

Catch this restaurant's prix fix while you can. 24 dollars for a 3 course, fine dining meal at L'Espalier is quite a deal-one that someone cannot afford to pass up. Although the service was insufficient compared to the usual fine dining restaurant, L'Espalier does live up to the legendary expectations with masterfully flavored dishes. Due to lacking service and modern decor, a loneliness permeated the air, but L'Espalier does rank among the best.

It has been a few years since we were here (we don't live in Boston), and the moved from the house they used to be located in (we missed the old house) but everything is still extraordinary. It is the Best In Boston hands down.

Life is perfect at this extrordianry place. Everything is perfect and impeciable. Elegant but never pretenious, First time to new location, although it lacks the old world charm of the former place, its escellence is intact. The service and the menu are excellent.

Ignore the critics! I went looking on Zagat's to find superb dining experiences in Boston for our anniversary this week and L'Espalier was one of the best we've ever been to (and we have been to many). The food, wine and service were magnificent from beginning to end. We loved the sommelier! I highly recommend L'Espalier.

The Spring Degustation menu was inventive, delicious and perfectly cooked. However, we were expecting Le Grand Fromage, as stated on the menu, and instead we were handed a plate of five cheeses for the table, perfectly aged, but only one of which we would have chosen from the cheese trolley. A Petit Fromage to be sure. The dessert plate was downright awful. The wines and wine service were excellent. Disappointing overall.

While the meal was wonderful, the service was lacking given the price. One note, however, the sommelier was very helpful and friendly.
