Terrible food and a management team that truly believes customers are to be treated like dogs. You'll be sitting in the can all afternoon with the runs and a splitting headache.

Les Zygomates' food is absolutely awful, and the management is corrupt. I had lunch there recently and cannot even begin to describe the horror story. Stay away if you value your life and would prefer not to embarrass yourself by inviting a friend, colleague, or business partner. Try Mortons, Legal Test Kitchen, or just get a burger at the Good Life.

Yummy salads and french waiters who only mock you enough to whet your appetite. Great for lunch.

My review is slightly skewed because of my fond memeories of Les Zygomates. The wine list is deep like the Red Sox 40 man roster in September, offering almost dozens of wines by the tasting, the glass, and the bottle. Les Zyg's seasonal menu, traditionally anchored by interesting seafood selections, always includes tasty vegetarian options and steak frites for the less adventurous. Service is usually good, but occasionally I have had servers who don't seem to enjoy serving me (perhaps I don't look like a big spender.) Trendy and priced for the financial district, Les Zyg will not be everyone's favorite restaurant, but will be fun and rewarding for people looking for a change of pace.

If I didn't associate red wine with joy and luxury before, I do now. I wish I could afford to drink a bottle there every night. But it's a great place for tasting and learning.

It is stunning to find that every dish is different, each lovingly inspired and beautifully presented. There is a unity to the menu too. The dining room is cool and comfortable. Great to hang out. If you want to go to a nice restaurant and have fabulous food this is the place.

What else can you ask for in a wine bar but large variety, great appetizers and bread, dim lights, and a jazz band playing in the back.

Love everything about the place, food, music, wine list, everything! Except the location. A little tough to get to, luckily there is a valet, but still, if you don't know the area well, it can be tricky to find.

No, it's not really quiet and dark. Zygomates is lively and stimulating. If you love the mumuring pulse of a city you'll find it running through this place. The ambiance is urban chic with high ceilings and windows out to the street. On a sunny day the light streams through the front windows and lights the entire scene. The food is wonderful - portions are small, but what do you want - it's French cuisine. Each taste should be slowly savored anyway. What makes it really special is the wine list. If you're a true lover of the grape, you'll not be disappointed.
