Description

This North End restaurant is small in size, seating only about 40 people. The interior colors are off-red borders on mauve, and the scheme does brighten up this intimate spot. Couples find G'vanni's Restaurant; a romantic spot to dine, although the tables are tightly packed together. The boneless breast of chicken and pasta with tomato sauce flavored with whole fresh basil leaves, spinach and garlic is recommended. The jumbo shrimp with scallops served over linguini is also quite good. The restaurant serves beer and wine.

My girlfriend and I go here every year on our anniversary and we love it. Best bruschetta in the North End and one of the best kept secrets in Boston. We will continue to go back for years and years to come.

Great $19.95 special

The dinner for two + wine is a great deal. Just make sure you're within the hours. We loved this intimate Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. Definetely recommend the fried calamari and shrimp diavolo. The tiramisu and cappacino/espresso was good, but expensive. Save your dessert and go down to Mike's pastries, where the pastries are to die for and the price is reasonable. Overall, loved G'Vianni's for dinner and will go back many more times to come.

Awesome food

What a great little place for lunch. We had 2 fantastic meals and a bottle of wine for $25.00 tax & tip included. Fresh bread and their sauce is to die for.
