my husband and I loved it here. We went to boston to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. This was a great restaurant to celecrate at. Very busy and had a lot going on. Everything was great from our drinks to the dessert... even our waiter. My captain and ginger was the best I have ever had and my husband loved his Sam Adams Boston. We started with the calamari, which has some sort of amazing light sauce on it. I had grilled swordfish with broccoli rabe and the best mashed potatoes in the world. My husband got surf and turf which was fantastic. The lobster definitely lived up to expectations. Finally for dessert we shared warm chocolate cake with vanilla gelato. The whole experience was great and memorable!!

extremely disappointing.. not what youd expect from a todd english restaurant. the food was average but the service was terrible. Management clearly did not have control over their staff and when any problems arose the management made us feel like we the patrons were in the wrong. The staff, especially the two bartenders we came across were extremely rude and took forever to get our drinks after they were ordered. We came in for a quick bite at the bar and ordered a few appetizers, but the bartenders never put our order in so it ended up being much longer. The managment told us that the food was never put in because they serve an upscale crowd and they were simply waiting for our full order and never realized that all we were ordering was appetizers. The only thing they have going for them was the location

awful service, average food unfortunate restaurant in the perfect location. I normally like todd english restaurants but the poor service and unhelpful management lead to an awful experience. The bartender took away our drinks half full and said we would need to order another round if we wanted more. When we tried to speak to management she told us we needed to wait in the lobby to pay the bill because they needed our table! Great location, but not worth the hassle with the staff with all the other restaurant choices around. Wait to eat here until the management and staff changes over.

Great service and food, excatly what you can expect eating at any Todd English resturant. The lobster roll with sliced black truffles is amazing, try it with sparkling rose. Their caramel apple martini's are excellent as well

I just want to make my review short, Try to avoid this place until furthur notice. The staff is horrible looks like they either are under some pressure to work there or they are just horrible workers. Management needs to improve on this and hey how about you post here of what changes you make so its easy for us and others to know if great service along with the food is a part of your restaurant. Last warning if you are with someone please dont disappoint whoever is with you...dont go here...chaw chaw

Extremely disappointing. Almost flavorless crab claws, horrible gumbo with no seasoning whatsoever. I tried to perk it up with tobasco sauce but it was completely lifeless. Certainly not New Orleans style gumbo. No one ever asked us how the food was or we would have told them how bad it was. I think they were happy to collect their $100+ for lunch whether we enjoyed it or not. This guy certainly is not a top chef!

horrible service, the waitress actually took my chowder away while i was still eating it, when i pointed it out to her she just said ooops and kept going, the waiter was rude and even though he wrote down our order he forgot some of it, while the food was tasty, i would never go back, hands down the worst service i have ever had.
