Durgin Park, Boston

My family of 4 and my mom had lunch there today. My husband enjoyed his Yankee Pot Roast. He said it tasted homemade. My oldest daughter and my mother had burgers, no complaints there. My youngest had the childrens chicken and brocolli Ziti; she loved it. I had the Broiled Cod Fish sandwich which came with french fries and cole slaw. The fish was a little bland but completely tasteless. The fries were alittle greasy. We spent about $70 including a $10 tip. The service was ok. The waitress could have been a little more attentive. Not plaining to go back.

Our waiter was horrible. Terrible service, took us an hour and 10 minutes to get our food. Our drinks were never refilled and our waiter looked like he was mad at the world. Everyone around us was very disapointed. NOT GOOD! Waste of 50 bucks

My wife and I went here on Saturday April 28th. It was not crowdwd upon arrival and we were seated on the third level at a very wobbly table. We asked to be reseated and move to another table. The food was large and not real good. The steak I ordered was cold and quite fatty. The fish my wife had was tasteless and dull. A large group was seated near us and we were quickly forgotten by the waitress. My wife couldn't even get a cup of coffee because they had no cups handy. We go to Boston frequently but won't be seeing this place anymore.

We went to Boston over the Labour Day long weekend and we arrived late in the evening. We tried different restaurants around Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall Market Place and most of them were full and had long queue. We finally picked Durgin Park, since we could get a table there right away, and now I know why. The food was mediocre and the service was really lousy, the waitress did not bring us any napkins and when we ask for them, she took the soiled ones used by other patrons and brought them to us. She tried to tell us that it was not her fault when we complained. Half way through our meal, another waitress came around and tried to take our salt and pepper shakers away. I would never go back to this place again and I will tell all my friends to stay away.

wandered into this place with a few friends while visiting. place seemed a little dark at first but the service fun and friendly, exchanging witty banter every now and then. I had the clambake that was awesome. but i don't know how you screw up something you just boil. the menu was extensive and the waitress even took a moment to tell me the story of the great pig stampede of 1879. what a great time?, definitly going to do it again

I liked the casual atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and the food was great. It was even good cold the next day (ordered too much). The broiled seafood platter and raw oysters were fantastic! The best seafood I've had in a while and I love seafood. I wish I had some oysters right now.

As a ong time Boston fan. I finally got to Durgin-park and it was worjth the 35 year wait. I had dinner four night in a row and it was all great food.
