Took Mom there for dinner last night. It was her birthday and her choice of rest. We had to leave most of the food uneaten, it was not good. We started with a tidbit plate and soup. Mom didn't eat her hot and sour soup because she said it was spicier than usual. The steak teriyaki and chicken wings were good but the boneless spareribs were overcooked and dried out and we did not eat them. For main dishes we got shrimp with vegetables which would not have been bad if there was less salt. Also got shrimp with lobster sauce and none of us could eat that because it was so salty it was like trying to eat a salt shaker. We just picked the shrimp out and tried to scrape as much of the sauce off as possible before we ate them. The waiter was polite and professional. He couldn't believe with so much food left over that we didn't want to take any of it home. We didn't say anything to the staff because it was my Mom's b-day and we didn't want to cause any waves.
Alice's is great!. Alice is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, she takes pride in friendly, personal fast service. Her food is fresh, tasty, hot and healthfully made. I spent a month in China and ate in 5 different regions and can say Alice's food is the most authentic that I have had in the U.S.
Alice is one of the nicest people around and the food at her restaurant is fresh, healthy and terrific. I don't even like Chinese food but Alices I could eat all the time. I get take out once a week from there. You should give them a try if you haven't already. I am happy to drive out of my way to go to Alice's for some great food.
Alice's is one of the finest restaurants in the area. The food is unlike anything in the area and is far and away the best chinese/mandarine food around. The food is always fresh and hot, the service is great and the restaurants is clean, modern, well lit and very comfortable. Also Alice is one of the nicest people around.
