Endless views of the Atlantic Ocean provide a stunning backdrop for the elegantly casual Bridgeman"s Restaurant. Expect to be dazzled by the hip atmosphere, inventive cuisine, and extensive wine list of this long-established South Shore dining destination. Its Central Italian Cuisine, expertly prepared in the open kitchen, can be enjoyed in either of the two dining rooms or at one of two bars. Newly remodeled outdoor dining is also an option please enjoy our new addition a Firetable.
Bridgeman s is fantastic: the food, the service and the view are all wonderful. Lots of variations on lobster too...lobster chowder, lobster brioche, lobster encrusted haddock, lobster mashed potatoes and more. If you love lobster, as I do, you will love Bridgeman s. In addition to lobster, though, they have lots of other creative dishes, all hitting the mark perfectly each time. I highly recommend Bridgeman s to anyone looking for a romantic dinner or to anyone who simply wants a fabulous dinner with friends!
First time to this place, I am a new transplant from NYC, so I am checking out the local scene.
Service was very good, Lobster chowdah was very good (a lot of flavor), I had the shrimp with pasta. The shrimp were huge but they were drowning in oil. way too much. my partner in crime had the haddock (crusted with mushrooms). She loved it.
I would go back again, but wouldn't order the shrimp with pasta again.
I was excited to go to this restaurant but was so disappointed. The wait was very long, but I was okay since the place was supposed to be good. However, my expectations were just that as the place does not live up to the hype. The hostess/owner(?) was extremely rude and I had my parents with me. The wait staff was okay, the food took forever and two dishes were overcooked and one was not what we ordered. I think I had heard the chef (a Wahlberg) does not work there anymore. The flavors were just pedestrian and nothing seemed to go with each other. Oh and it is extemely loud, overpriced and the tables are jammed up next to each other. My poor mother kept having her chair bumped. I think this place has its best days behind it and too bad for me I missed them.
