I disagree with all the reviews, although we did not go to the bar, our experience was very good. I took my teenage son there for his birthday and we ate on the deck with the heater on,so it was really nice. The food was excellent. Our waitress was not very friendly but the experience was still good. We are going out tonight to take my daughter there for her 13th birthday, I don't think we will sit on the deck since it is suppose to snow, but we hope it will be as good as the first time.
This place has a great waterfront location, unfortunately the food was not good and the services was awful. Our bartender (pointy blond-haired woman) while we were waiting for dinner was completely rude and insulting to us and the other patrons sitting next to us. That should have been the tip off to a bad location. When we asked for the manager to complain, she was polite, but basically ignored our complaint.
ABSOLUTLY horrible bar experience on a saturday night.. after paying a $5 cover charge, i ordered a beer, when at the bar to order another beer i was overlooked for 25 minutes and finally the bartender came to my friend who ordered our beers, she told me i was SHUT OFF! after ONE beer, even though i was sitting there minding my own business... to my suprise a bouncer PHYSICALLY removed me from the bar, when i told him some of my friends were in the bar, he took me through a personal only entrence to the bathroom, like i was some type of threat... TOTALLY embaressing and i will NEEEVER go back. THe bartenders are snoody, catty, and overall miserable.
We came here for lunch the weekend after Thanksgiving; my boyfriend, his brother and their father. They commented that it had been remodeled upstairs with a dance floor and bar area. We sat at a hightop near the bar. They ordered beer and were carded. Since we had out of state IDs they required a credit card as additional identification. My boyfriend had one and his brother didn't. His brother is 34, the older of the two, and looks it. They wouldn't serve him. It was a little ridiculous. My boyfriend and I weren't impressed with the food. I probably wouldn't go back.
