Grog Restaurant, Newburyport

What a great pub!!! This is what a pub should be! I go at LEAST once a week. Fantastic burgers and the oter food is good too. Add a cold beer and I'm set!

Great food, great music. 1st Floor has bands. 2nd has nice restaurant and bar. 3rd has quaint comfortable bar and restaurant set up like a fireplaced living room.

ALWAYS have a great meal and wonderful T&Ts when we're at the Grog. Hubby is a former Newburyport resident, so he introduced me to it. The staff is always great, the seafood (and all the dishes, for that matter) are fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I can't wait for winter to go in, out of the cold, and enjoy some wonderful Grog grub while we're enjoying the beautiful Town of Newburyport!!

What a nice place! We stumbled upon it by accident and boy am I glad we did. Great service, great food, great price. The seafood scampi blew me away. I live in Boston and would drive all the way there just for their seafood scampi. Amazingly fantastic.

This place was one of the nicest places I have eaten at! The dress was casual and that food, atmosphere, and staff was wonderful. We didn't have to wait for anything and the staff was very nice. We where upstairs where they played go music and it is much quieter then downstairs. Downstairs is more busy but a fun place to eat and enjoy. The prices where also very reasonable.
