Farnhams is a fantastic restaurant. it's clean, the view is wonderful, and the food is always delicious. The staff is very friendly and have always been willing to help. For a particular group of people such as my wife who has a very difficult time eating out, it is a Godsend. For those that suffer from Celiac/Sprue, which is the inability to eat and digest gluten, Farnhams is a bright beacon shining in a dark night. All of their breaded seafood is done with corn flour so that someone with an intolerance to gluten, which is found in wheat, can eat there with safety. Thank you Farnhams for being there. We drive a couple hundred miles a few times each summer so my wife can enjoy your whole belly fried clams, and it is worth every mile.
This retaurant has a reputation for outstanding cleanliness. It is scrubbed top-to-bottom during the off-season when they close for winter, reopening early each March. The chowders are great, and they sometimes even have fried cod cheeks! At high tide during the summer you can even visit via small boat. Cash only.
The food at this resturant is excellent. Everything is always cooked perfectly, also, this resturant offers great views of the marsh. When comming to this place, definetly bring your camera, especially in the summer. This place is great all around.
