The food here is top-notch and prices are reasonable. Sample the king cut of prime rib and sirloin tips . The side salad is huge and features the restaurant's own French dressing. The dining rooms fill up quickly on weekends, but there is a sheltered porch and a full service bar. Each of the dining rooms has a theme. "Sioux City" has Native American touches; all the rooms feature handsome woodwork. A butcher shop is attached to the restaurant. There is also a second location in Braintree.

We stop here because it is tradition and a local landmark. Lines are not even close to what they uses to be in fact they are gone. The Hilltop has an average steak that will be served with your traditional sides. Lunch is a good idea here for the prices are lower and the service is fast. I love the house salad dressing.

Went for the Sunday brunch (which at $9.95 for adults is dirt cheap, but you get what you pay for), had an omelette and a waffle. Everything else looked sketchy at best.

AWFULLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!! took a friend there for a kitschy birthday dinner, remembering this place used to be awesome years ago. Well, that was years ago! Food tasted like nothing, filet had big gristle line through it, mashed potatoes were bland. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! The golden days are gone.

The people that run this place still operate a restaurant like it's 1960. The sides come delivered in seperate dishes and they all tasted days old (heat lamps i'm sure). My steak was cooked wrong and when i asked the server about it she could care less. Don't forget to sit at the bar you'll be amazed when the bartender uses his dirty hands to put ice in the glasses! Please hire someone who can run a restaurant correctly.

Been there only once... Better than outback steak house I guess, but the food wasn't OMG the greatest. It was average, but hey I am a picky eater. If you want steaks that are fresh then I recommend you go. The atmosphere was different from others but I enjoyed it. Also this is better than average but there isn't a middle star so yeah

Not a good selection of dinners. Used to be a great place 10 years ago.

I was in town on business and this place was recommended for good steaks, what I didn't expect was how great all the sides were too! Prompt/friendly waitstaff too.

Breakfast will never be the same.

Hilltop Steak House is well known for their excellent steaks and service to the dinner crowd, however did you know that you can also go to the Hilltop for a great buffet breakfast? Every Sunday morning, the Hilltop Steak House puts on a great buffet spread that would even please the pickiest eaters out there. My wife, mother and I ate there on 10/30/05 and the whole place was decked out for Halloween. Servers and staff were costumed as Witches, Mummies and of course Cow Boys. The food itself was not only of high quality and delicious, but it was hot, fresh and plentiful. I rated the Hilltop lower on the Ambiance scale, but that's because I'm not really a fan of the Western theme - But that does not mean that the Hilltop is lacking in service or enjoyment.
