This morning my family went to steeves for a late breakfast (around 11:30). There were alot of tables that needed to be cleaned off. I asked the waitress if she could clean off one of the booths because it is easier with our son. She responded by saying the waitress in that area will clean it when she gets to it. I turned red because everyone heard it (its not that big of a place). We walked out and will never go back. I cant believe she told us that. I find the owner nice, but a few of the waitstaff need some training in customer service.
I have eaten at this restaurant several times and the food has always been good. I do find this restaurant to be very high in their prices though. Today i ordered a ceasar salad with chicken and it cost me $8.00 which is very expensive for a salad, but also it was terrible i was very disappointed. I have ordered wraps before and also payed just under $8 for a small wrap with no fries. I think for a small town restaurant they need to rethink their prices. I think i am done spending the money now.
By far the best family operated restaurant I have ever been to. It’s a place where everybody knows your name, the “Cheers” of Georgetown and the hidden jewel of northern mass. I love coming here, the food is great, simple pleasure food. Very inexpensive, entertaining and warm place where you feel you are part of the family. Overall great place, awesome food, wonderful service family atmosphere. I love it.
Great little hometown restaurant tucked away just off the center of Georgetown, MA. Plenty of seating, including extra large booths and even some old-fashioned countertop stool seating. Prices are inexpensive and the food is great. We asked the waitress (Ruth) what she would recommend and she suggested the chicken and broccoli calzone. So we went with that and a greek salad. The calzone was excellent with plenty of cheese and lots of grilled chicken breast inside. Sauce came on the side. The Greek salad had plenty of feta but could have done with a little more green lettuce. Overall, we had a fabulous lunch for less than $20.00. We had friendly, helpful and courteous waitstaff from the moment we entered the restaurant. This is now my new favorite local restaurant!
I say that sometimes they foget to bring things to you at a resteraunt but i ordered a drink probably 3 or 4 times and the lady never brought it and when she did i didn't have a straw or ice and i say that is not a way to treat a customer
