On two occasions, in the same week, my daughter and myself have been ripped off by the waitstaff at Chunky's. On Wednesday AM, we were part of the crown attending the Harry Potter premiere. On a $9.94 bill, paid for with a $20 bill and specifically asking for my change back, the waiter kept the $2.00 and the change. Isn't is nice to know, he felt he deserved that without my having to dirty my hands for his tip? On Friday, my daughter and her friend went again. Their bill was $35 and my daughter paid with $40. This time, no change back at all. My 14 year old doesn't understand tips so she wanted her change. After much rig-a-ma-roll and my intervention, the waitress came over and proceeded to throw the money at my daughter claiming she thought it was her tip. Again, isn't it lovely, they decide what and what isn't their tip. So the theater itself is fine, the seating is fine, the fried food is OK but WATCH YOUR CHANGE. What if a 10 year old went and ordered just a drink and paid with a $20, does that mean the waitstaff keeps $18 for a tip. ENJOY THE MOVIE, WATCH YOUR MONEY.
