We go about 8 to 10 times a year. That's because, everyone we
take wants to go again. So, we treck over from NY. The rustic atmosphere is so relaxing, good down to earth folks. The food is wonderful. Something for everyone,
( the wings are so good you might get too full on wings to eat anything else) Hundreads of beers for those in the group that enjoy that. A good place to go.
Went there recently with friends after a bad experience 1 year ago. Has not gotten any better, dinner was sub-par overpriced, service was terrible,if you complained, waitress would giggle and say Ok.Duh!
Bartenders can do nothing more than pour beer.
We are locals and will never return.
Only good thing was the wings, but can do with out at 10 for $12.95
Stopped in there today and had not been in many years. Wings were as rock solid as always. Beer selection is huge. Nice atmosphere. I sat with my NY Yankee fleece on and the guy at the next table had a B on his hat - this area of MA seems possibly neutral which is nice. Anyway, this place is well worth the stop. I also worked there about 10 years ago so I know it is run nicely and a good place to work. Hey Kirk.
The servers here are more interested in pleasing their girlfriends than tending to the customers. My friend (an Iraqi war vet) and I had a conversation which upset the bartender's girlfriend and suddenly, we were cut off. We were not drunk. We were not obnoxious. We simply had a private conversation which upset their delicate sensibilities. The thought police at this establishment must make a living serving rainbows and sunshine, because they sure don't rely on tips, you know, like most bars. Don't spend your money here. The overrated food isn't worth it.
like a draft such as coors lite, miller lite.didn't have. asked waitress to suggest light beer. the draft was not light, very bitter. couldn't drink.but told by her the mgr said i had to pay for it any way. large party kept waiting even though tables next to ours were ready, finialy they seated them there. long wait for food.
