Alpental, Snoqualmie Pass

Alpental is one of four base areas at the Summit-at-Snoqualmie, separated from the other three by Interstate 90. Alpental offers the most advanced and expert terrain at the area with runs like Upper International and Shot Six. Enjoy a 360-degree view and 500 acres of backcountry terrain, plus your choice of either black or double-black downhill runs from the top of Chair 2, the Edelweiss chair. Alpental is served by three double chairs and one detachable high-speed quad, has 2,280 feet of vertical, and averages 444 inches of snow a year. That’s a lot of big numbers for a ski area with just a bit more than 300 skiable acres inbounds. There is no wasted space. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Alpental is excellent freeriding terrain. There is a Superpipe and top-to-bottom terrain park at Summit Central, and a terrain park and snowskate park at Summit West. Snowboards are available to rent in all Summit rental facilities. Cross Country Profile: The Summit Nordic Center is now at home in Summit East at Hyak. Over 50km of trails total. The lodge at Summit East base area has been recently remodeled. The former nordic center is now a demo center for Rossignol.LodgingAlpental has three private chalets for rent, and the nearby Summit Lodge Hotel has 80 rooms, conference facility, pool, and Jacuzzi.
