Buller is the closest of all major ski areas to the city's international airport.ActivitiesCross Country Profile: Winters Activities Center offeres snow shoeing, cross country tours, cross country lessons, telemarking, ice climbing and abseiling lessons.LodgingThere are 7000 beds available at the Resort in hotels, commercial lodges and clubs. An additional 2300 guest beds are available in nearby towns such as Mansfield, less than a 45 minute drive away.Winter RecreationSnowtubing, snow shoeing, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, night skiing, scenic chairlift rides, figgles, The Great Hall has abseiling, tennis, badminton, basketball, netball, fully equipped gymnasium.
