Seven mountain peaks across four resort areas (Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes, Blue Cow, and Guthega) make up Perisher, which is Australasia's largest ski resort with over 1245 hectares of skiable terrain serviced by 48 lifts.ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboard park is available.Cross Country Profile: Over 100 kms of marked runs for all ability levels leave from Nordic Shelter.LodgingThere are a variety of on-snow properties in Perisher located for ski-in/ski-out access. Accommodation consists of private and commercial lodges, hotels and apartments.Jindabyne is the closest town below the snow-line, and is a 30-40 minute drive from Perisher, or 15 minute Skitube (alpine railway) ride to Bullocks Flat. There is an extensive selection of properties that range from inns to holiday flats. Many have views of the lake and mountains. There are additional accommodation listings on the Kosciuszko Road and Alpine Way. Winter RecreationNight skiing, Winterfest, Action Man Challenge Dome, pool competitions, live entertainment, dancing, races and competions for skiers/riders/cross country skiers, and many other events to participate in are scheduled all season long.
