The winter sports paradise Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis with its three historical villages is located on a sunny high plateau above the Tyrolean Inn Valley, framed by the mighty 3000-metre Samnaun mountains and the Ötztal Alps. Here winter sports fans have the choice of 190 km of superbly groomed ski runs, of which 135 km are at over 2000 m altitude, 135 km of cross-country skiing trails – groomed daily – 70 different modes of transportation, freeride slopes, terrain parks, and the whole gamut of winter fun sports. With the “Kinderschneealm” children’s entertainment centre, the “Murmlipark” and “Berta’s Kinderland”, excellent ski schools, all-day childcare, separate children’s restaurants and many other family-friendly attractions one can safely say that Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has one of the best winter offering for families, and has indeed been commended several times as the most family-friendly resort in the Alps.Serfaus is a traditional Tirolean village dating back to the Raeto-Romance period (c.1500 BC). The entire village is closed to private traffic, so you can get around by a subway. It's known for its wonderful children’s center in the heart of the village.The neighboring town of Fiss is especially picturesque. A peaceful traditional village with a compact centre, lift-linked to Serfaus and with Ladis sharing a lift ticket. Skiing is on sunny trails, with the area receiving up to 2000 hours of sunshine a year (an average of more than five hours every day). There's several fun parks for snowboarders and a boardercross course.Situated above the Inn Valley, Ladis boasts a castle, ancient village walls, and plenty of flair. There are two fun parks with rails, jumps, kickers, box and obstacles.
