One of Austria's largest, liveliest and most popular ski resorts. Summer skiing on twin glaciers (one or the other always open ) with ski-season opening festivals each October and November. Snow is guaranteed thanks to the glacier back up.Sölden is a great place for 'boarders, on and off the slopes. The year-round terrain is served by more chairs and gondolas as a percentage of the total number of lifts than the vast majority of Alpine resorts. ActivitiesSnowboarding: Snowboarding is available with two terrain parks and two half pipes.Cross Country Profile: 16 km of cross country trials are available.LodgingSlopeside lodging is available; over 9,800 beds. Additional lodging facilities are located within 31 km.Winter RecreationSnowboarding, cross country, tobogganing, winter hiking, and ice skating. Also indoor swimming, sauna, paragliding, weight lifting, indoor tennis, shooting range, badminton, and a sports hall.
